
曹哲静|Zhejing Cao

Zhejing Cao is an assistant professor in Department of Urban Planning at Tongji University. She received her Master and Doctoral of Philosophy degree from Tsinghua University and was a visiting Ph.D. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on coordination between transit networks and urban structures, and potential of using new mobilities to support urban green travels. Furthermore, she focuses on understanding the connections between street environments and travel behaviors, and exploring soft methods to nudge green travel behaviors. Zhejing has been awarded grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program. As the first author, her works have been published in SCI journals of Transportation Research Part A, Transportation Research Part D, Cities, and CSSCI journals of Urban Planning International, Urban Planning Forum, etc. Zhejing has authored/co-authored more than 25 journal papers, 10 proceeding articles and book chapters, and presented at international conferences including TRB、ACSP、AESOP、IACP, etc. She has received the Jin Jingchang Outstanding Paper Award in Urban Planning, the Beijing Youth Excellent Scientific Paper Award, the Shanghai Urban Design Challenge, among others.

邝昭燃|Zhaoran Kuang

Zhaoran Kuang is a master student in Tongji University, Department of Urban Planning. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the Department of Urban Planning at Tongji University. He focuses on the area of urban transportation especially the new mobilities. He had been participated in the research “welfare and profit zones of e-scooter sharing in Brisbane” and presented at ASCP Annual Conference as a co-author. His master thesis is about exploring the potentials of“Metro+Ridehailing”mode for serving inconvenient transit trips in Shanghai. He interned as a project assistant at the National Foreign Cultural Trade Base (Shanghai) and was also a summer intern with the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone Urban Planning and Construction Bureau. Besides academics, he enjoys baking and gardening.

Yuhao Shi is a master student at Tongji University. He received his bachelor degree from the Department of Urban Planning at Tongji University. He has won several awards as a designer, including the gold award of Ocean Architecture competition, silver award of 2022 Healthy Future National Design Competition, 2024 Asian Design Annual Award, and the nomination award of 2022 WUPENiCity International Competition. He has also won the outstanding award of 2022 "Xiongchuang Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, as well as the third prize of Ecological Science Popularization Works Competition. Beyond design, he possesses a strong interest in computational skills, including web development (Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax), database systems (MySQL, Redis), Linux, and application development (Qt). He's also keenly interested in AI algorithms and data science.

Dominika Sterna|谢多宁

Dual degree at Tongji University and Vienna University of Technology
Dominika, 28, is a double degree master student in “Urban and Rural Planning” at Tongji University and “Spatial Planning” at TU Vienna. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Innsbruck, with a thesis focusing on hydrogen mobility in the context of climate policy. Currently, she is writing her Master thesis on the effectiveness of nudging in the transportation sector. Her academic focus lies in sustainable transportation planning, mobility management and (Austrian) spatial planning law and policy. As a student research assistant at two TU Vienna - research units she has contributed to the research projects SLIMobility and ReMobiWo, addressing regulatory challenges of sustainable mobility frameworks in residential contexts. Her practical experience includes holding various mobility education workshops for secondary school children and kindergarten teachers. She also has the co-authorship of a handbook for organizing summer schools. Outside academia she enjoys organizing events, playing basketball, snowboarding and traveling.

Qi Su|苏琪

Qi Su is pursuing a Master’s degree in the Department of Urban Planning at Tongji University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Rural Planning from the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. She was an exchange student at the College of Design and Engineering at the National University of Singapore from August to December 2023. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in two research projects, focusing respectively on shared-bike system equity and the socio-spatial structure of townships. She was awarded the National Scholarship in 2022 and has received several design awards, including the Third Prize at the 7th BFU International Garden-Making Week and the Bronze Prize at the 9th Bauhaus Award International Design Competition. Her research interests focus on new low-carbon transport modes and shared mobility. Outside of academics she enjoys choral singing and a cappella.
