Early Childhood Green Transport Education

绿色交通方式(步行、骑行、公交)有助于减少温室气体排放和降低空气污染,对于城市可持续发展具有重要作用。研究旨在探索幼儿早期阶段绿色交通认知教育对于家庭绿色出行行为的助推作用。研究将基于欧洲Mobi-box幼儿园绿色交通干预策略,设计形成适合中国幼儿的绿色交通认知教育课程;与上海市幼儿园合作展开幼儿绿色交通认知教育试验,通过行为实验和数据分析,探究幼儿绿色交通教育对家庭成员绿色出行重要性认知和通学通勒出行习惯的影响。
Adopting green transportation modes is beneficial for reducing carbon emissions and mitigating air pollutions. This research aims to explore the nudging effect of early childhood green transport education on family’s sustainable travel behaviors. Based on the concept of Mobi-box in Europe, we develop a localized green transport course for Chinese kids. We carry out the teaching experiment by collaborating with the kindergarten in Shanghai. Through behavioral data analysis, the research will investigate the impact of early childhood green transport education on family members’ awareness of importance of green transport and their travel modes to school and works.
